The Magician upright
The Magician is the first card of action. Where The Fool dreamed, The Magician does. Upright, it says the means are within reach and the moment asks for focus: one intention, said plainly, followed by the first practical move. It's the card of craft, communication and making ideas real with your own hands.
There's an old line about this card: as above, so below. What you think and what you do need to point in the same direction. When they do, things move quickly.
The Magician reversed
Reversed, the energy leaks. You may be spread over too many plans, or doubting a skill you plainly have. Sometimes the reversed Magician is someone else: a charming talker whose promises don't match their actions. Watch what people do, love, not what they perform.
One card is a sentence. Three cards are an answer.
Bring me the question you keep turning over. The Three-Card Question lays three cards on it: what you asked, what you want underneath it, and what yes and no would each cost you. It opens on screen the moment you pay.
The Magician in love
In love, The Magician brings attraction with intention: someone who knows what they want and says so, or a moment for you to stop hinting and ask. In a relationship it favors honest, clever conversation. Watch for charm without follow-through.
The Magician at work
At work it's a strong card for pitches, launches, interviews and anything that rewards skill and confidence. Use what you already have before you go looking for more.
The Magician as feelings
As feelings, The Magician says they're drawn to you and intrigued, and they're thinking about how to make a move.
Is The Magician yes or no?
Yes
You hold the tools; the yes depends on using them. A single card leans; it doesn't decide. Read it beside the cards around it and the facts of your own life.
A question to sit with
