How to read compatibility
Astrology starts with the four elements. Fire signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, love with impulse and courage. Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, love with steadiness and the senses. Signs of the same element share a tempo, so they tend to understand each other quickly. Fire and air are friendly elements, and so are earth and water. Opposite signs sit across the wheel and pull hard, because each holds what the other is learning. Which zodiac signs are most compatible?
Traditionally, signs of the same element (fire, earth, air or water) and signs of friendly elements (fire with air, earth with water) find each other easiest, and opposite signs share a strong magnetic pull. Signs at a square, three signs apart, tend to ask the most adjustment. Every pairing can work; some simply need more translation.
What do the elements mean in compatibility?
Fire is impulse and courage, earth is steadiness and the senses, air is thought and conversation, and water is feeling and intuition. When two signs share an element, they share a basic tempo. When the elements differ, each partner brings what the other tends to lack.
Is zodiac compatibility accurate?
